The presenter will demonstrate how to use text from a Project GLAD Narrative Input Chart for a set of Dictado lessons. She will walk participants through the daily process of a week's worth of Dictado lessons using the Narrative Input Chart text. Steps in the process include: having students do an initial Dictado of a portion of the text, conducting word study with vocabulary from the passage, presenting a grammar mini-lesson based on the text, asking students to translate the text from Spanish to English, and a having students do a final Dictado at the end of the week as an assessment.
